We are all intellectual capitalists

Many problems that arise out of conflict in society between people, organizations, nations, and so on, are a direct result of how our biological brain's design.

We are all intellectual capitalists.

What is capitalist?

A capitalism is a system of interaction between individuals about objects. Normally, it is the system of trading physical objects or abstract services between those that participate.

It is not accidental why we evolved to this kind of society system.

Our brains' operation is capitalistic. Our brain considers ideas of value, or not, and takes in the valuable and throws out the non-valuable.  It doesn't matter what the topic is, how it is met in the open in society, and makes personal decisions based on beliefs and reason one each.

We seek things that answer our Maslow's hierarchy of needs. We repel things that, we believe, take us away from those same needs.

In the process, we determine that ideas, like people and other objects, are part of how we get there on this journey. At the same time, we also reject ideas, like people and other objects that will not help us get there.

We treat ideas like real objects because to an evolved brain there is little distinction between the imaginary and the real. It's not a bug, it's a feature.

Promote the Theory of Evolution to a Law

If scientists want to represent the theory of evolution as a proper fundamental law inherent in the natural system, then it should be described as a law.  The evidence is overwhelming, therefore it should be explained as such to society.

People don't understand the scientific definition of theory.  They assume if it's still a theory it can't be 100% reliable.

But look at it this way, we call Newton's three Laws of Motion "laws" but they were in fact are proven wrong. They don't work at subatomic levels.  They don't account for relativistic speeds. They are not true natural laws but an approximation. People got in the habit of calling them laws and no one wants to change that.

I'll start:  Darwin's Law of Evolution describes how natural biological organisms form species through adaptation and survivors evolve the genetic traits and characteristics of the successors.

Science doesn't need the approval of Church

Pope Francis declares evolution and Big Bang theory are real and God isn't 'a magician with a magic wand'

It's great the Church is coming around to accept the physics-based explanation of the Universe and origins.  But this approval or validation is not necessary.  Science doesn't care what the Church thinks about it.  The Church is a participant in science as demonstrated by their astronomical interests.  But Science ignores praise over the cold criticism of peer review.

Of greater importance is the acceptance of evolution.  Now that's an admission that will have far reaching consequences for the Christians that still hold onto the belief the Earth is 6000 years old.

On the other hand, it's not cool that he's decided that God isn't a magician and that there was a genesis of the Universe from the Big Bang.  He's offering an alternate theory as to the universe's creation.  Unfortunately, he is not authoring a paper and submitting it for review by scientists.  If he did that, he would have to submit all the proof of his postulates along with his theory.  That would be the true test for the existence of God.

The arrogance of the Church, as cool as Pope Frank may be, is that they decree their views and do not submit to examination.

Anders Rasmussen Blog: Review of The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins

Anders Rasmussen Blog: Review of The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins

I encourage you to read this blog if you are interested in Richard Dawkin's seminal scientific work.   Before he was a spirited athieist / antitheist he was a scientist conducting meritorious work.
